Sree Revana Siddeshwara Betta
28/12/2008
We went to Sree Revana Siddeshwara Betta . From Majestic, catch a KSRTC bus for Ramnagara. From there we can catch an auto and reach the bottom of the hill.
Sree Revana Siddeshwara Hills - it is about 13 KMS situated near Avverahalli along Ramanagara-Kanakapura Road. Kunagall Betta - A completely rockery hill it is about 8 KMS from Ramanagara situated near Kuna gall village along Ramanagara-Kanakapura Road. Like that you can see plenty of hills nearby Ramanagara.
After reaching near the hill we had nice heavy breakfast from the best hotel over there. This is the hotel shown below. We ate idli - vadas over here along with bisi bisi tea.
After getting stuffed up we started our climbing journey. Just beware of few monkeys in this place. We saw one monkey snatching a carry bag.
View from the hill top is nice one.
There is a huge bell on the hill and a small pond as well.
Start of BengaLuru trip
26/12/2008
My train journey for BengaLuru trip started with Chalukya express from Kalyan at 22:30 hrs.
No pantry in train( beware food lovers because you won't get anything safe).
But me being a lucky fellow, met a Kannadiga family - husband, wife and a cute little kid.
I had dinner with them before reaching Yeswantpur. One of the sweet words in kannada that I learnt was - chhalko beDA ( don't spill - the lady used to tell the child while drinking water).
